Beautifully Brutal Ong Bak 2

After ‘Suriyothai’, ‘Ong bak 2’ is definitely one of many thai movies that was carefully crafted in achieving a box office perfection.

If the initial ‘Ong Bak’ movie was made with the intention of focusing on the choreograph muay thai stunt moves to please the action film lovers. ‘Ong Bak 2’ does not only with satisfy action film lovers with every detail and iconic fighting sequences, but it beautiful cinematography and authentic art direction which has been carefully and tastefully done will surely push this movie into a class of its own. To top it off, the movie plot, characteristic and storyline was smartly crafted and beautifully arranged in helping viewers to not only understand the movie but respecting it even further.

There are many things to love about this movie, making it a must see movie in 2009, and hopefully will surely push the potential of this movie even further, probably an oscar nomination for best foreign movie next year?

However, personally If I would, to improve this movie, probably I would like to see a better ending, and perhaps a much suitable score to provide a better justice to some of the scenes.

In summary, congratulations to Tony Jaa who I believe has putting a lot of effort and sacrifices to this movie. Apart from playing the main role, he also directed the movie.
Hopefully the recognition and success of Ong Bak 2 will inspire many asian movie directors across the region in making their own internationally commercial asian movies in future.

Ong Bak 2, is now on cinemas malaysianwide.
